Oh my goodness.
As evil as Physics is, I had so many laughs today in it. I’m finally starting to understand it ( largely due to my darling husband, Andy-roo ) and today was just so fun.
I understood something that was kind of complex and Ms Hardy ( my teacher ) pointed me at a comic on her wall that is from Kalvin and Hobbs. I think.
It’s a little kid at a desk saying how much he hates math when all of a sudden that beam of light settled on him and he was like “WAIT! I get it! I think I’m experiences enlightenment!” then it cuts to the next box: “Either that or this is what an alien abduction feels like”
I LAUGHED SO HARD!
Earlier in the day – 2nd period Psychology – I had explained to my class how I always laugh nearly-hysterically at things because I get so little sleep during the week and that I’m particularly bad right now because I didn’t sleep last weekend and I’ve been operating on very dodgy sleeping hours.
So as I’m laughing uncontrollably at this little comic, Jul ( “Jool” ), who is in my Psych class goes “It is okay, she doesn’t sleep.” Jul is from Ukraine and she said this very matter-of-factly in her gorgeous accent and it cracked me up even harder.
