Erm…I suppose I’d like to start this blog by welcoming our new bloggers, whoever they may be.
You get really busy, and don’t have time to blog for awhile and look what happens!
Oh well, anyway, I thought it was time for an update on my life.
I’m still an apprentice electrician, and I’m getting pretty bloody good at some of the skills involved now – and I just wired up a socket in my own house! I must be trusted…
Pool team is going pretty well, 3rd in the table currently, still pushing for promotion.
I went to a bonfire celebration last night, in Kent. The Kentish people really don’t know how to do bonfires. I still haven’t been to Lewes yet, mind, but the Hailsham Bonfire this year was spectacular. Tempted to join the bonfire society, to be honest.
For the Americans reading this post, who don’t know the history of the English (and particularly the Sussex) bonfire celebrations, I suggest you google “Guy Fawkes” and “Lewes Bonfire” and have a little read. I assure you, it is fascinating.
Anyway, must dash, places to see, people to do!
