Conspiracy and Government

Google introduced this thing called the Sidewiki. Before you do anything else, I want you to say that a few times. Then say “Side wikiwiki” in a 1990’s rapper voice. It’s very fun.

I hadn’t even heard about the sidewiki until I found this blog. And yes, I’ll freely admit I mainly clicked on it because it paired the word “domination” with picture of Darth Vadar. Whatever.

Anyway, reading this blog ( and I thoroughly encourage you to do so ) I discovered that Google released what is basically a little side-along forum where you can comment on any webpage you want. Hightalk ( and others who sound so much more professional informed than me ) think that Google is trying to ninja its way into owning all the social networking awesomeness that Facebook currently has. [ I would say MySpace as well, but let's face it. MySpace is for old men and young girls. Not a lot of good there. ]

I thought about this, and I can see, in the future, picking out not a username, but a online social identity that you will have for the rest of your life. And that scares me. It also makes the little Apple voice in my mind say “There’s an xkcd for that.” [ Read the hover text and you'll understand. ]

I think the internet is going to, eventually, be open. Everything will bleed into everything else and everyone will constantly be talking about everything. Think Extras by Scott Westerfield.

Hmm… What do you think? Are you also terrified that things will evenutally go bad and Google will conquer the world?

I must say that when Google buys either Wal*Mart or Disney, I’m going to move to Canada. Because everyone knows that Canada isn’t like real life. Right?

The point of being liberal is no longer being open-minded, if it ever was that. The point of being liberal is being opposed to conservative views.

I really hope this won’t offend you, but I think you’re a little naive in your hate of the media and government in general. You sound a bit like a 1970’s wanna-be anarchist who doesn’t really understand what’s going on. I really don’t mean that in an awful way. You have to understand, though, that despite the media and the government’s many flaws, they are run and created and consumed by people. If everyone boycotted a particular TV show for three months, it would cease to exist. If, collectively, we decided that we wanted a different government, and were willing to die for that desire, we would have a revolution. I’m pretty sure that makes me almost the perfect stereotype of a much hated Capatilist Pre-Revolutionary fiend, but that’s what I believe. Yes, we are indoctrinated by the media. But with the availability of the internet and the profusion of conspiracy theories, it’s absolutely unacceptable for any one in free data countries to claim it was all the media’s fault. We have choices, Holden! And if we fail in those choices ( as I believe we did when we pushed the government to give so much charity out when we were already in debt, and as I believe we do every time someone is allowed to believe “oh, my actions don’t matter in the scheme, I’m only one person” ) we end up with corrupt government, corrupt media, corrupt minds! It’s not the media’s fault that America is waning. It’s America’s fault for shaping a media that degrades the intelligence of youth and adult alike. It is OUR fault, personally, you and I, for allowing the media to continue to indoctrinate our peers and our family and our generation.

Sorry…Got a little passionate there.

Anyway…I’ve got to get back to work. Talk to you soon.

Your Alice ♠

This is an email I sent to one of my friends today. He and I were discussing politics and…I thought this had some merit and bore repeating.

Your little conspiracy theorist

[ Oh! I call him Holden ( Like Holden Caulfield ) and he calls me Alice ( Like Alice in Wonderland ). Hence the Holden and Alice whatnots. xx ]

[ I really will blog soon. Really... ]

I have to make it public. It’s suppose to be secret, however most people in Austin, Tx knows about it. The police department has machine that can read your mind. A machine that can read someone’s mind will be used to violate EVERYONE’S CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!! It can also change the way you feel. Sexual impulses, anger, and paranoia are all feelings they can induce to you at their fingertips. This means it can cause a girl or boy to feel sexual, and get raped thinking they wanted to. Its like a drug. This is just one of the many crimes they commit with this machine RIGHT NOW!!!! They are using it right now to spy on their citizens RIGHT NOW!!! People will be spied on in there homes, without a warrant. (this means someone will be able to watch you during sex without your knowledge.) There are a lot of people all over the United States knowing about this machine. The police department is able to use it to spy on people in their own home. During interrogation they keep a person dazed, confused and not sound of mind to cohersed them into making certain statements. This is a violation of these people’s constitutional rights. Start thinking about how the government has given the police department a weapon to commit not only one of the biggest civil and constitutional rights violations of all time, but to commit war crimes such as rape, brainwashing, and toturing people without the victim’s knowledge. I know it is hard to believe, however if you happen to know someone in the police department who cares for you enough, just ask if they have a machine that can read and control people’s mind. After that, I would also like people to think about how we are able to get the government to stop letting the police department violate the people’s civil and constitutional rights, and committing war crimes against there own citizens. Major media companies have knowledge of this, but are not willing to broadcast it. People need to find out and talk about this issue.

Well, this was in our spam inbox. And I found it SO hilarious that I had to post it.

Because, come on.

I’ve just finished taking my TAKS. I made the mistake of skiving off school on the day that the English “retest” – that is “the TAKS for those of you who are graduating early/not from this country” – was administered, so today I had my English. Having completed it, earlier this afternoon, I am now completely done. And I believe I got perfect marks on it, too!

Or, I would have.

If I’d had the right test…

Unfortunately, I had the wrong test document meaning that I now cannot leave campus ( even though I have a field trip with my mini theatre troupe ) until the retest has been procured. Which means that I have NOT passed my English TAKS. I have not even TAKEN my English TAKS.

Which sucks.

So…here I am.

Luckily, it was one of my favourite teachers that administered the test improperly, so I don’t really mind. I do love her, after all, and she’s promised to do something nice for me. I’m not that bothered, but she looked like she was about to cry. So I comforted her. lol *hugsteacher*

[ P.S. Conspiracy and Government because it's a government administered test, and because it must be a conspiracy that kept me from Rose's Costume... ]
