General Goodness

Every few months, I come around and bring some kind of awesome new challenge. Like the Autumnal Challenge or the Senior Moments or the Momentously Epic Fail Crystal Snowflake Challenge ( which sucked, let’s face it. )

This season ( and by season, I mean month ) I’m doing something different.

I’ve added the category “Letters to No One” which are actually letters to everyone. Or anyone.

Letters that you’d like to send someone but don’t have the balls to. Or that you want to send them but can’t. Or that you don’t want to send them but wanted to say.

No one else has to participate but you can if you want. Heck, even if you’re a non-blog member and you want a place to mail your letter, email it to zombiebunniesofamerica[at]live[dot]com and I’ll post it, if you want me to. If you don’t, just say “don’t post” I’ll read it and then you’ll know that someone else knows your secrets. Kind of like a mini Post Secret, I suppose.

I’m going to try to post every other day ( I’m really going to try and post every day, but I’m going to say every other so when I fail, I feel less bad ) and everyone else can feel free to join in whenever they want.

Lu, Chi, Paul, Dan: If you want to, I’d love you forever, but don’t feel obligated. Unless your name is Dan, in which case, you’re totally obligated :p

After my successful day, and lovely nap, it was time to go to our pool match. I shan’t bore you with the details, but it ended in a disappointing 5-5 draw, which we should, and could have won.

Still, a decent result considering we were missing two very good players, and we’re still one of the favourites to win promotion to Division Three.

That’s about all I can say about today, so I hope you all had a good one, now I’m going to sleep for a few hours, until the next punishing, exhausting day of work.

Night!

Dan.

Likes thinking of blog titles.

  • Is going outside to bother her brother.
  • Can’t wait for thanksgiving.
  • Even though most of her family isn’t coming.
  • Has a Lollipop.
  • Wants Paul to message her.
  • Should probably fill this with something meaningful.
  • Is killing time and blogging to much.
  • Hopes this makes Dru happy happy happy.
  • Loves you people.

Life is good. Hopes she can go to Bradley’s  (Loves his name) house for the senior thanksgiving dinner thing. Mom said should rent a limo for prom. If only, that’d be sweets. Haha, mainly because I can’t drive and I don’t know anyone who can drive that can take me. I can’t spell either just as a point. I have the money to pay for my prom ticket if I go though. All saved up. That took long enough.

Supercalafragalistic,

~*Chi*~

New blogger! His name’s paul. And he and Steph may infect the blog with sweetness. >.<

Lol =D

I'll blog more when I'm not at work…

Lu’s A to Z: Jace Everett – Bad things (it’s the theme to True Blood <3)

Good afternoon from the shores of sunny Hastings, and the giant, faceless office block I work in.

I may have an interesting decision to face shortly, and your opinions would be much appreciated.

I have a new job, I am an electrical apprentice, as of 2nd October 2009. It is a very good job, leading to a high-level qualification and a potential £30k per annum, possibly more. However, said job was not always likely to come to fruition, so I had to search around.

Enter the decision.

I applied for another job, trainee estimator/surveyor for a construction company. I had the interview last week, and it went so well, I feel that I will potentially be asked to start the new job.

This raises a dilemma. I will still gain a qualification (although a slightly lesser one), I will have potential earnings of 40k+, it will not be such hard work, but I won’t have the potential to become self-employed and potentially start my own business afterwards.

So, blog, I ask you – what would you do?

Dan.

The first thing you should do is click here. That is an absolutely riveting article about ampersands and their uses and origins. I actually drew an ampersand on my hand as I was reading that article ( well, two actually, in different styles. They can be seen on my twitpic account, here. ) and then, forgetting that skin has naturally occurring oils in it and that they were on the back of my hand, I got two ampersands on my face from leaning on the back of my hand while I was reading the article. >.<

In other, far more interesting news, we have a new blog theme. And name. We're "Across the Pond" because we are now populated by an half English, half American cast, and because we like to travel, etc etc etc.

LU! How will you be flying to Japan? Will you be going over Europe or over the US? Europe I'd assume, but still… You should try and stop over in Dallas lol. I'd come hang out with you for a few hours =)

The tagline is from "Lost[ !, ?, @, or + ]" by Coldplay from their album Viva La Vida. And I think it fits us all fairly well right now. =)

What else…?

Well, the pretty brown background is now officially done with. I really did like it a lot. But I love this one too. So, hopefully, things will go well.

I'm going to go kip, I think. I'm very drowsy. ( I'm still half sick, you see. )

If the DVD drive on my laptop still worked, I would watch V for Vendetta in bed and fall asleep =) I could watch it on my tv, but I gave away both my tvs and my dvd player. Hopefully Michael and Jon are enjoying them. Well, mostly Michael. He's such a sweetie =D

Change of plan. I'm going to type up two or three old poems before I vamoose.

xxdruxx

[ PS, I'm going to use your "A to Z" okay, Lu? Cuz I love music and i think some people need to hear some yum.

Today: A - A Fond Farewell to A Friend by Elliott Smith. The most played song on my iPod with about 70-something plays. Brilliant album ( From a Basement on the Hill ), brilliant song. Go buy it on iTunes, it's only 99¢. ]

I have a new PC.

This makes me smile – no longer will I have to use my parents old old old laptop. I still need a new monitor, and much more RAM though – but it’s a start…

Also, Windows Vista is actually very very good. It has a great user interface. I love it.

So, I’ve deleted the old bloggers about pages and gotten rid of the cluttery old pages and I think it looks quite nice now =)

I also updated my about page.

And ruined everything with a kiss that I was very strongly impressed not to make the first time I met someone.

What a colossal let down.
